AEW
An update has emerged on AEW cancelling an upcoming TV taping, with plans for a replacement show being revealed.
As confirmed by the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH, the December 7 AEW Collision taping has now been cancelled.
The event’s page on the official Nationwide Arena website notes:
The AEW (ALL ELITE WRESTLING) event originally scheduled for December 7 at Nationwide Arena has been cancelled.
While there has been some confusion about what this means for that week’s episode, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, has now provided an update on AEW’s plans.
Per Sean Ross Sapp, AEW still plans to run a taping in Columbus, OH that weekend.
Sapp noted that this taping will be announced soon, and that the Nationwide Arena was originally supposed to reveal the cancellation following the announcement of the new venue.
As of now the AEW.com events page still has the December 7 Collision listed as an upcoming show, however, tickets are no longer available via Ticketmaster when following the link on that page.
For those that have already purchased tickets to the show, refund information will be available through the original point of purchase.
