AEW Files For Collision Related Trademarks AEW

Per the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), AEW has filed applications for several trademarks related to Collision.

On May 17, AEW filed to trademark the term ‘TRANSFER PORTAL’. According to the application, AEW intends to use this term for

The following description accompanied the filing:

Conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of wrestling exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers;

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances;

Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and wrestling multimedia entertainment event content;

Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling

While it isn’t known exactly how AEW plans to use the term, it has been speculated that ‘Transfer Portal’ will be a key term surrounding the rumored talent draft between Dynamite and Collision.

AEW also filed to trademark the Collision logo (which you can see below) on May 17 with the following description:

The mark consists of the words AEW SATURDAY COLLISION displayed vertically with the word COLLISION displayed on a metal-looking sign board.

Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances;

Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events;

Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media;

Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling.

May 17 was notably the date on which AEW officially announced Collision and revealed the Saturday show’s logo.
