The status of AEW star Jade Cargill has been a hot talking point in recent days, with it being reported that her AEW contract was set to expire soon, and her being expected to jump to WWE.
It was reported that Jade’s AEW contract expired on Friday, the day that her TBS Championship rematch against Kris Statlander aired on AEW Rampage.
The match was looked at as a farewell for Cargill, who many believed was leaving the company to join WWE.
In an update, AEW has confirmed Jade Cargill’s departure from the company today, with her being officially removed from the company’s roster page on the AEW website.
Today, it has been reported by PWInsider that Cargill is currently in Orlando for WWE at the Performance Center.
Jade is reportedly not set to feature on this week’s (September 19) episode of NXT as of this moment.
WWE’s creative plans for Cargill upon her debut have seemingly been revealed.
