Next week, AEW will be putting on a special ‘Bash at the Beach’ episode of Dynamite from the Watso Center at the University of Miami in Florida.
To build towards the big show, AEW has announced three big matches that will take place, including the AEW in-ring debut of a former WCW star and WWE Hall of Famer.
It was confirmed last night that mega-heel MJF will team with The Butcher and The Blade when he takes on QT Marshall, Dustin Rhodes and Hall of Famer DDP. The match will be DDP’s first since WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
While it may be exciting to see DDP in an AEW ring, the promotion announced another match that will likely have fans licking their lips. Next week, we are set to see fan favourite Darby Allin go one-on-one with PAC in what should be cracking bout.
Finally, after failing to defeat Riho for the AEW World Women’s Championship this week, Kris Statlander will team with Hikaru Shida to take on Awesome Kong and Mel from The Nightmare Collective.
Next Wednesday is shaping up to be a big week, as WWE has also just announced three mouth-watering matches for next week’s episode of NXT.
