AEW are reportedly considering pay-per-view related changes for 2025, with WWE cited as a reason why.
Since AEW’s inception their annual Double or Nothing PPV has been a fixture of Las Vegas, NV, only moving from the city for the 2020 instalment where it was held in Jacksonville due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, according to a new report from Fightful Select that may be about to change in 2025.
According to the report, there has been “major discussion” as of late last year regarding moving Double or Nothing from Las Vegas, with WWE’s WrestleMania 41 reportedly “factoring into the decision”.
WWE’s Grandest Stage of Them All is emanating from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday April 19 and Sunday April 20, a month prior to when Double or Nothing usually takes place.
AEW have yet to release dates of their 2025 PPV schedule and according to Fightful’s report this is unlikely to happen unlike last year.
WWE announcing a competing live event in on the same night and city (Orlando) as AEW Worlds End was cited as a reason for this change of approach.
We will provide updates on the date and location of AEW Double or Nothing and all 2025 PPV events as they are announced.
