More details regarding the AEW console video game have been revealed, including the likely release date.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), the tentative internal release date for the upcoming All Elite Wrestling video game is for late September.
There is still a lot of work to be done before then, but the plan has long been to release the game this year with September widely regarded as the target release time.
The report indicates that the release date was first said to be coming sooner than later when AEW talent were told they may have arrived in the company too late to be included in the game.
This is still only a tentative release date and there is a publisher involved that hasn’t been announced as of yet. A lot of things could change between now and then.
As previously mentioned, AEW is working on a story mode to be included in their console video game and there is a deadline for certain music to be included as well.
We will have further updates on the All Elite Wrestling console video game when they become available.
