The new date for a notable AEW x CMLL crossover match has now been confirmed, following the previous postponement.

While Toni Storm hasn’t wrestled for AEW since losing the Women’s World Championship to Mariah May at All In London, the popular star has been active in non-AEW rings.

Following her recent bouts in Japan, it was initially announced that Storm would face off against La Catalina at the October 11 CMLL Viernes Espectacular show.

This bout was ultimately postponed due to Hurricane Milton. CMLL noted in the postponement announcement that they were working with AEW to figure out a new date for this match.

CMLL has now confirmed that this match will take place on Friday’s (October 18) show.

As you can see on the graphic below, the bout is being promoted as an AEW vs CMLL match.

While this match will be Storm’s CMLL in-ring debut, she notably made an appearance via video package on the October 11 show to address her absence, which you can read more about right here.
