AEW star Darius Martin of Top Flight is expected to be out of action for another six to nine months after being involved in a “nasty car accident”.
Martin had only just returned to the ring this past March after being out for over a year due to a torn ACL.
Speaking on the Universal Wrestling Podcast, Martin’s fellow AEW star Malakai Black said:
“He had a really nasty car accident. He’s out for, like, six to nine months.”
During Martin’s absence, his brother and tag team partner Dante has risen up the singles division and proven himself to be one of the most exciting prospects in all of pro-wrestling.
We wish Darius Martin all the best with his recovery.
A few days ago, Martin shared the following post on Twitter, showing his injuries:
They told me that my ACL itself looked great though! ? pic.twitter.com/w4b0Y2D2kk
