Top AEW Star Reflects On Annivesary Of WWE Release WWE/AEW

A top WWE star has reflected on the third anniversary of his release from WWE along with his tag team partner.

On Friday April 10 2020, it was confirmed that The Revival – Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder – had agreed on their immediate release from WWE.

Now known as Dax Harwood, the former Scott Dawson was hired by WWE in 20212, with the current Cash Wheeler joining the WWE Performance Center in 2014.

The pair were brought together as a team by Dusty Rhodes who had “unwavering faith” in them until his passing in 2015.

In WWE they would go on o be NXT, Raw and SmackDown tag team champions, though have recently spoken about their southern accents being a contributing factor in the lack of faith from some.

They would remain in WWE until their release in 2020, with Dax Harwood speaking about aspects of the company that led to their departure, including “childish sh*t” they had to do as part of creative direction.

Harwood would also reveal that he was involved in what Vince McMahon described as “the worst match” he had ever seen whilst also revealing what got him a standing ovation from McMahon.

Since joining AEW, the team of FTR have held the AEW World Tag Team Champion and the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

The AEW World Tag Team Champions once again following the April 5 episode of Dynamite, FTR looks to be set for a future in AEW.

With this in mind, on the third anniversary of their WWE release, Harwood shared a memory along with photos on social media.
