Top AEW Star Recalls Embarrassing ‘Childish Sh*t’ During WWE Run

There’s been many moments that could probably be called embarrassing and childish in WWE history, but a top AEW name has recalled theirs.

Speaking on the FTR with Dax podcast, Dax Harwood recalled the back-shaving skit on a 2019 episode of WWE Raw, saying:

“When that was presented to us, obviously it’s supposed to be embarrassing for us, and I’m thinking like, this is childish sh*t. It’s not even funny.

“What is supposed to be embarrassing about someone shaving my back? Is it supposed to be embarrassing because Vince thinks it’s effeminate?

“Is that him subjecting a certain group of humanity as an embarrassment to humanity?

“I started thinking, ‘What is the embarrassment’ because I’m not embarrassed.

“Dan and I are probably the only two wrestlers in the world right now who have complete body hair everywhere. We’re the ones who don’t shave.”

The skit, which can be seen in the video underneath this story, featured Dash Wider shaving Scott Dawson’s back and being caught by The Usos.

The Revival would leave WWE in 2020 and would make their debut with AEW on the May 27 episode of Dynamite where the now-named Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler would form FTR.

Since joining AEW, the pair have held the AEW World Tag Team Champion and the ROH World Tag Team Championship.
