AEW star Dax Harwood has sent a message of support for Sasha Banks and Naomi, who walked out on Monday’s WWE Raw taping.
As confirmed by an official WWE statement, Banks and Naomi left their Women’s Tag Team Championship belts with John Laurinaitis, and exited the arena during the live broadcast.
Dax Harwood has now taken to Twitter with a photo of himself and Sasha Banks.
Supporting the duo, Dax captioned the photo:
Always, always, ALWAYS stand up for what you believe in. F**king ALWAYS!!!
Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler of FTR (fka Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) notably turned down WWE offers for $850,000 each in 2019, ahead of their departures. They were released from their WWE contracts in April 2020.
Banks & Naomi were reportedly unhappy with the direction of the WWE women’s tag division, and had their pitch to defend the gold at Hell in a Cell nixed ahead of the walk-out.
The original plans for the stars on WWE Raw, and at Hell in a Cell have since been revealed.
