Popular AEW Star Set To Make Debut For Independent Promotion

Coming off the heels of the NJPW G1 Climax 34, popular AEW star Konosuke Takeshita is set to make a debut for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.

Konosuke Takeshita came into the G1 Climax 34 tournament as a representative of All Elite Wrestling and DDT Pro Wrestling. His performance in the tournament has been heralded and praised by many fans and critics.

On August 21, Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced that Konosuke Takeshita will make his debut for the promotion at their Forged In Excellence event. The post reads:

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling is the promotion owned and run by former TNA President Scott D’Amore. Following the announcement, D’Amore wrote:

It remains to be seen when Konosuke Takeshita will make his return to AEW at the time of this writing.
