Another AEW Departure Confirmed

Another AEW Departure Confirmed AEW

Another AEW departure has been confirmed, with a wrestler announcing that he is set to leave the company.

Bear Bronson – who also wrestled as Bulk Bronson – has taken to Twitter to announce that he will officially become a free agent on Sunday, June 1, after his AEW contract expires.

Bear Bronson commented on his upcoming free-agency, writing:

Tomorrow, I am officially a free agent in pro wrestling

To everyone that believes in me, to my family, & to my beautiful wife:

I love you all, I’m grateful to live this life & grind.

Now, I chase EVERYTHING I’ve ever dreamed of in full force & bet on BEAR F**KING BRONSON!

Bear Bronson signed with AEW as part of the Iron Savages tag-team in May 2021, following his debut for the company on AEW Dark in December 2020.

While he has been active for various independent promotions including C4, Limitless Wrestling and Beyond Wrestling, he hasn’t wrestled for AEW since the Iron Savages lost to the Outrunners on the November 30, 2024 Collision episode.

This comes after former AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May was removed from the AEW roster page, with reports indicating that May is expected to join WWE.
