All Elite Wrestling’s next pay per view event, Double or Nothing, is reportedly not going ahead as planned. This is due to MGM Resorts shows and attractions being canceled through May 31.

Double or Nothing was scheduled to happen on May 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. At the moment, the only match remotely announced for the show is the finals of the TNT Championship tournament.
All Elite Wrestling has recently filmed a few months’ worth of Dynamite. This could be a problem now as the event was still scheduled when the shows were taped. Some editing would need to take place if the event has indeed been canceled.
They may attempt to film the show on a closed lot similar to WrestleMania, however, AEW puts their big events exclusively on pay per view. AEW would also greatly prefer to have a live audience as their pay per view events have been successful at the gate as well.
The next pay per view event after this one is scheduled to be All Out 2 at the end of August.
