AEW Dynamite And NXT Ratings Revealed

AEW Dynamite and NXT had another week of solid pro wrestling but their ratings went in opposite directions. All Elite Wrestling’s ratings went up while NXT’s went down.

Bryan Alvarez revealed the ratings on Twitter today. Dynamite garnered 701,000 average viewers while NXT averaged 592,000 viewers.

AEW’s 701,000 viewers were significantly up from last week’s number of 654,000. Meanwhile, NXT dropped again, losing 12,000 viewers from last week.

This week’s Dynamite was the go-home show for the Double or Nothing pay per view on Saturday. They set up a number of the top matches for the show with the emphasis being put on the Stadium Stampede match between The Elite and The Inner Circle. A number of wrestlers appeared to be injured on the show with varying degrees of severity.

NXT, on the other hand, is continuing to build towards their Takeover: In Your House event. They announced new matches for the show, including Tomasso Ciampa vs. Karrion Kross. NXT also furthered the programs of Johnny Gargano vs. Keith Lee and Matt Riddle vs. Timothy Thatcher.

We will have to see if the post-Double or Nothing episode of Dynamite continues to climb back up the ratings or if the 700,000 range is their quarantine peak.
