Here we are again. It’s Thursday, so the AEW Dynamite and NXT ratings have hit the web. Things have started settling back to normal after the heights of both shows’ major events of late. This week All Elite Wrestling topped NXT by 66,000 viewers.
Bryan Alvarez reported the numbers today on Twitter. AEW pulled in an average of 773,000 viewers while NXT garnered 707,000 average viewers. Add them both together and they beat the third hour of Raw this week.

These numbers are better than what some expected. As sports return and more viewing options become available, both shows were able to hold steady with NXT gaining viewers from last week.
AEW Dynamite averaged 773,000 viewers this week, down from 845,000 average viewers last week. Both shows featured Cody holding an open challenge for top indie stars and this week they focused much more on building to All Out in September. MJF challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship and we also saw the debuts of Matt Cardona and Ariane.
NXT, on the other hand, rose in viewership from last week. They still lost the weekly battle, drawing 707,000 average viewers but that is up big from last week’s number of 615,000 average viewers. They continue to build toward NXT Takeover: XXX as Dexter Lumis qualified for the North American Championship Ladder Match.
