AEW Dynamite And NXT Viewership Revealed For June 17

It’s Thursday, you know what that means! It means the ratings have been revealed for AEW Dynamite and NXT. Thankfully, both shows saw significant increases in viewership this week.

Bryan Alvarez reported the numbers earlier today on Twitter. Both All Elite Wrestling and NXT saw increases after being less than 5,000 viewers apart last week.

Alvarez has reported that AEW did 772,000 average viewers. This is up nearly 100,000 from last week’s number of 677,000 average viewers. This week’s show saw the Dynamite debut of Ricky Starks who challenged Cody for the TNT Championship. They also continued to build towards Fyter Fest, announcing Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy for the show.

Meanwhile, on NXT, they pulled in 746,000 average viewers, up from last week’s 673,000. This week’s show had the announcement of two future championship matches. They announced Keith Lee will defend the North American Championship against Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano and the winner will face Adam Cole in a winner takes all match.

There is currently no set date for the next NXT Takeover event. Normally one would be held the night before SummerSlam but there is currently no word on when the show will take place.
