AEW Dynamite Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match Sees Brutal Battle AEW

Tonight’s (July 20) Shark Week themed edition of AEW Dynamite ended in complete bedlam as the ‘Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match’ went wild.

Mid-match, Tay Conti ran out to attack Ruby Soho who had control of lift for the shark cage containing the Jericho Appreciation Society.

As she attacked Soho, Anna Jay ran out seemingly to attack Conti however then aligned with Conti, attacking Soho and stealing both the controls to the cage and keys to it!

While the betrayal by Anna Jay went off without a hitch as the cage descended appropriately, Conti was unsuccessful in unlocking the shark cage and after some moments of hesitation, JAS members just slipped through the bars of the cage to complete the run-in angle.

After JAS jumped Kingston, there was a Blackpool Combat Club run in leading to complete chaos as has been displayed numerous times of late between the warring factions.

In the end, after a run in from Sammy Guevara gave Jericho the boost he needed to finally pin Kingston, it didn’t much matter as Eddie did not stay down for long.

After the match, Kingston fought back, attacking both Jericho and Guevara, finally tossing Jericho into a spider web of barbed wire as the show ended on the shot of a screaming and bloody Painmaker, Chris Jericho.

Elsewhere on the show, House of Black kicked off the Shark Week themed edition standing tall with some intriguing events, Swerve in our Glory hosted a Championship Celebration and a former NXT 2.0 star made their debut and got a title shot.
