AEW Dynamite Beats WWE NXT In Ratings Battle For October 18 AEW

The viewership figure and demo rating for Tuesday’s (October 18) editions of WWE NXT on USA and AEW Dynamite on TNT have been revealed.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Dynamite drew 752,000 viewers, while NXT drew 676,000 viewers.

For AEW, this is down from the October 12 edition that drew 983,000 viewers. However, last week was in Dynamite’s normal time slot on Wednesdays.

Meanwhile, NXT’s total viewership is also down from the October 11 edition that drew 737,000 viewers with no head-to-head wrestling competition.

In the 18-49 demographic, AEW Dynamite scored 0.26 rating, while WWE NXT scored 0.18 rating.

The demo rating for AEW is down from the week prior that scored 0.32 rating.

NXT’s demo rating is up from the week prior that scored 0.15 rating.

Dynamite featured their “Title Tuesday” special with four title matches, including Jon Moxley defeating Hangman Page to retain the AEW World Championship and MJF officially announcing his cash-in against Moxley for Full Gear 2022.

NXT featured numerous main roster stars like Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rhea Ripley and The O.C. appearing and the final build to this Saturday’s Halloween Havoc event.
