The viewership figures for the December 8 edition of AEW Dynamite, featuring the Diamond Battle Royal, have been revealed.
As per Wrestlenomics, Wednesday’s show drew an average of 872,000 total viewers. This is slightly up from the 861,000 viewers who tuned in on December 1.
It is worth noting that last week’s episode had the lowest total viewership that the show has scored in it’s regular slot since May 19.
In the key 18-49 demographic, this week’s episode did a 0.33 rating, which is roughly 430,000 viewers in the demo. Dynamite was ranked 5th for the night in cable originals, behind two NBA games on ESPN, The Challenge on MTV and Real Housewives on Bravo.
Last Wednesday’s show earned a 0.31 rating – approximately 406,000 viewers – in the same demo.
On the show, Dante Martin and MJF made it to the final two of the Diamond Battle Royal. The two stars will do battle for the ring next week.
Bryan Danielson defeated John Silver during the episode, ahead of his AEW World Championship match at Winter Is Coming next Wednesday.
