AEW: Dynamite Drops 400,000 For Second Show, Still Beats NXT

Nearly 400,000 fewer people tuned in for AEW: Dynamite on TNT this week than for the premiere episode on October 2.

The show drew 1.018 million viewers, which is down from the 1.409 it managed to average last week.

AEW ranked 8th in the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic list, while NXT ranked 27th. AEW ranked 25th in viewership, while NXT ranked 33rd in viewership.

Despite this, it still topped NXT by over 200,000 viewers, as WWE’s developmental show drew 790,000 viewers on average over the two hours.

AEW drew a 0.46 rating in the 18-49 demographic, topping the 0.22 in the same demographic achieved by NXT  by 109%. Last week’s AEW episode drew a 0.68 in that demographic while NXT drew a 0.32.

AEW was also aired on TruTV due to a clash on TNT with a baseball match, and 122,000 people watched on TruTV, giving an overall live viewing average of 1.140 million.
