A free agent star was reportedly backstage at this week’s AEW Dynamite (January 15) in Cincinnati, OH.
In a backstage report from Fightful Select, it was noted that two well known former TNA Wrestling names were spotted backstage at this week’s Dynamite taping.
After PWInsider reported that Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling President Scott D’Amore was present backstage at the show, Fightful Select has confirmed that former Knockouts star Gisele Shaw was also spotted at the Andrew J Brady Music Center.
Shaw had been a staple of the TNA Wrestling Knockouts division for three years before wrapping up her time with the company in September 2024.
In her first matches as a free agent, she would compete on both nights of Maple Leaf Pro’s Forged in Excellence event in October.
Since then she has made two further independent appearances, but has yet to sign with another wrestling company.
We will provide an update on Shaw and D’Amore’s visit to AEW as/when more information becomes available.
Shaw was not the only women’s free agent present at AEW Dynamite, as Megan Bayne made her AEW return on the show.
Since her appearance more information has been learned regarding Bayne’s AEW status – click here for full details.
