AEW Dynamite Grand Slam is closing in on the first one million dollar gate for a television taping in the company’s history.
Wednesday, September 21, 2022 is the date for the second AEW Grand Slam event at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.
All Elite Wrestling will tape the live Dynamite as well as Friday’s Rampage for the event.
With plenty of anticipation heading into the show, it seems the show will already be viewed as a success.
Per AEW President Tony Khan, the 2022 edition of Grand Slam has surpassed last year’s gate and is nearing the company’s first $1 million gate for a television taping.

Wednesday’s show will see Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson in the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions Finals for the vacant AEW World Championship.
