AEW Star Reacts To Return Defeat Following 11 Month Absence AEW

The June 12 episode of AEW Dynamite saw Daniel Garcia taking on a returning Nick Comoroto in a surprisingly short match.

The match from last night’s show can be seen below this news story, with Garcia being victorious.

With his return now in the bag after a near eleven-month absence, Comoroto addressed the match on Twitter, posting:

“Well that wasn’t the comeback I expected #AEWDynamite #JacobySaveUs”

Comoroto last competed in AEW on the July 22 2023 episode of Collision, losing to Miro in around 90 seconds.

It was previously reported that Comoroto’s absence from AEW programming wasn’t due to injury.

He has feature in a number of independent wrestling matches during his AEW absence with the previous report noting he was “simply not being used” by All Elite Wrestling.

Comoroto has also competed in ROH a number of times throughout 2024, frequently teaming with Jacoby Watts.
