Here’s what happened with Sammy Guevara and Bryan Danielson after the November 9 edition of AEW Dynamite.
In the main event of the show, Guevara and Danielson faced off in a two out of three falls bout. Danielson ultimately picked up the victory with the first and last fall, with the bout finishing 2-1.
The show went off the air with Danielson celebrating in the ring.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Danielson offered a handshake to Guevara after their hard-fought battle.
Guevara turned Danielson’s handshake down, opting to flip him off instead.
Danielson and Guevara will meet in the ring once again at Full Gear, when the duo and Claudio Castagnoli challenge for Chris Jericho’s ROH World Championship in a fourway bout.
Chris Jericho won the gold from Castagnoli at Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 21.
Since then, Jericho has vowed to ‘desecrate’ the legacy of ROH, and defeat every former ROH champion.
So far, Jericho has defended his gold against Bandido, Bryan Danielson, Dalton Castle and Colt Cabana, who have all held ROH gold in the past.
