After a pair of stellar episodes of AEW Dynamite and NXT, the viewership has reflected the high quality of both shows.
Showbuzz Daily has reported the viewerships for both shows in the Wednesday Night War. All Elite Wrestling garnered an average of 831,000 viewers. Meanwhile, NXT drew an average of 734,000 viewers.
This is once again an increase from the previous week’s viewerships. Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite drew an average of 747,000 viewers, 84,000 less than this week. Last week’s NXT garnered 713,000 average viewers, 21,000 less than this week’s episode.
As stated earlier, both shows were received very well by viewers. Dynamite featured a promo from Jon Moxley hyping his match at Revolution that has gotten rave reviews. Also on the show was a match between Nyla Rose and Britt Baker, one of the better women’s matches on Dynamite recently.
On NXT, Adam Cole gave an explanation for attacking Kyle O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver. The show also saw Dexter Lumis defeat NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano in a non-title match.
