An AEW star has announced an open challenge for this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite in Austin, TX (February 12).
With Grand Slam Australia nearing on Saturday, February 15, an announcement has been made regarding an open challenge on the final Dynamite before AEW’s trip overseas.
Following his split from tag team partner Anthony Bowens several weeks ago, Max Caster will look to prove he is the ‘Best Wrestler Alive’ by issuing an open challenge to anyone in the AEW locker room on Wednesday’s show.
AEW detailed the segment via an announcement on Twitter:
Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite
THIS WEDNESDAY 2/12
8pm ET / 7pm CT on TBS + MAX!
Max Caster Open Challenge
Who will step up to @PlatinumMax‘s Best Wrestler Alive ™ Open Challenge THIS WEDNESDAY?
Watch #AEW Dynamite THIS WEDNESDAY on TBS & MAX!
In response to the official announcement of the ‘Best Wrestler Alive Open Challenge’, Max Caster posed the question:
WHO CAN SURVIVE THE BEST WRESTLER ALIVE?
While the entire locker room has an opportunity to step up to Caster’s challenge, the former AEW Tag Team Champion implored Hangman Page to answer the call during a backstage segment on last night’s AEW Collision (February 8), following the pair’s recent run-in on Dynamite (February 5).
The Wednesday, February 12 episode of AEW Dynamite will be pre-taped the day prior on Tuesday, February 11 ahead of the company’s trip to Australia for Grand Slam.
