AEW Dynamite Draws Huge Rating, Beats Raw In 18-49 Demo

The September 8, 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite drew a massive 1.319 million average viewership. The show also beat Raw in the key 18-49 demographic, garnering 681,000 viewers to Raw’s 678,000.

Brandon Thurston reported the news on Twitter earlier today. This is also the second-highest viewership in Dynamite’s history. The only episode watched by more people was the debut episode.

The show was the first episode of Dynamite since Sunday’s All Out pay-per-view. This episode features appearances from the newly signed Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, and Ruby Soho.

The latter wrestled her first singles match in the promotion against Jamie Hayter, while Cole and Danielson both cut promos.

CM Punk also made an appearance as he started a new feud with Team Taz.

The show was main evented by Cincinnati native Jon Moxley who took on New Japan Pro Wrestling star Minoru Suzuki.
