The June 19 edition of AEW Dynamite has drawn record low numbers in both overall TV viewership and the key 18-49 demo rating.
The show, which saw the in-ring return of former AEW World Champion MJF, as well as two Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarter-Final matches drew a total of 502,000 viewers and a 0.16 in the 18-49 demo according to Programming Insider.
The viewership number of 502,000 is the lowest ever recorded for Dynamite in its traditional Wednesday night slot, and third lowest overall for Dynamite, with the only two lower numbers coming in June 2021 when a pair of episodes were moved to Saturday night.
The 0.16 demo rating however is the lowest the show has ever scored, with both previously mentioned Saturday night Dynamite’s in June 2021 which both scored a 0.19.
For comparison, last week’s Dynamite (June 11) scored a 0.23 in the 18-49 demo and 681,000 viewers overall.
Dynamite didn’t face any major sports competition, unlike the previous week’s Dynamite which had the NBA Playoffs to contend with, however, it did air at the same time as the College World Series on ESPN.
