Ahead of tonight’s October 8 broadcast, a major change to AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday has been announced for a match.
On the October 5 edition of AEW Collision, Christopher Daniels announced that Willow Nightingale will face Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. to determine who will face Mariah May at AEW WrestleDream on the October 8 episode of Dynamite.
Before the Title Tuesday special, Tony Khan took to TikTok to post a video announcing a major change to the match on AEW Dynamite.
Khan revealed that Britt Baker is unable to travel to tonight’s Dynamite from Spokane, Washington due to illness, so Willow Nightingale will now face Saraya, Nyla Rose and Jamie Hayter in a four-way match.
The winner of the bout will face May for the AEW Women’s World Championship this Saturday, October 12 at WrestleDream.
Also announced for tonight’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday, Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta will face PAC and Claudio Castagnoli, and Mercedes Mone will face Emi Sakura for the TBS Championship and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
Meanwhile, Jay White will appear to speak about his AEW return last week and HOOK will confront Taz’s attacker on the show.
