Another week has gone by and another set of AEW Dynamite and NXT ratings have come out. Amidst stiff competition, both shows dropped in the ratings from last week.
As reported by Bryan Alvarez, Dynamite averaged 766,000 viewers while NXT did 697,000.

Both shows had strong TRUMPETITION. AEW was #25 in the money demo, NXT #42. Same demos as usual, AEW won everything except 50+.

Dynamite did a strong 906,000 viewers last week, up 140,000 from last night. This week’s show featured a chaotic show with the Elite and the Inner Circle brawling as a set up for the Blood and Guts show. While the status for that event is up in the air, it is currently scheduled to take place on March 25.
NXT also dropped in the ratings, although much less significantly. Last week they averaged 718,000 viewers, while this week they lost 21,000 viewers.
Alvarez reports that the coronavirus news and updates from United States President Donald Trump played a factor in the numbers. Wrestling often takes a big hit on nights where news and politics are at the forefront. Needless to say, that was the case here.
