AEW Dynamite Up Against MLB World Series Game 5 AEW

The November 2 edition of AEW Dynamite will be up against game 5 of the MLB World Series.

This coming week, several wrestling shows will go head-to-head with big baseball games. As previously noted, game 3 of the series will clash with the October 31 edition of WWE Raw, and game 4 will clash with the November 1 NXT episode.

AEW’s flagship show will also be up against a MLB game, with Brandon Thurston pointing out that there will now be a game 5 on November 2, with there now being a tied series between Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies.

The October 21 editions of SmackDown and Rampage were notably outranked by the Philadelphia Phillies vs San Diego Padres MLB NLCS game, which drew a 1.12 figure in the 18-49 demographic. This edition of SmackDown notably drew 2.231 million total viewers with a 0.52 18-49 demo rating. AEW Rampage had a total viewership of 480,000 that week, with a 0.13 demo rating.

On the November 2 edition of Dynamite, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will face Lee Moriarty in an AEW World Title Eliminator bout. TBS Champion Jade Cargill will defend her gold against Marina Shafir, and Chris Jericho will face a former ROH champion in a ROH World Title bout.

Here’s the announced card for the show:

  • Chris Jericho defends vs. a former ROH champion – ROH World Championship
  • Orange Cassidy vs. Rey Fenix vs. Luchasaurus – All-Atlantic Championship
