It has become extremely apparent that both NXT and AEW Dynamite are better off not competing with one another. This has been further exemplified by this week’s viewership for All Elite Wrestling’s flagship show.
Showbuzz Daily has reported the viewership figures for AEW Dynamite and the show had another very good week. The show garnered an average of 1.104 million viewers. This is only slightly down from last week’s number.
Additionally, Showbuzz Daily reported the rating for the key 18-49 male demographic, with AEW pulling in a 0.37 number.
The show featured a pair of championship matches last night. The first of which saw Hikaru Shida defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Tay Conti. This had been built up for several week and delivered with another stellar match.
The main event was the second of the two title matches with Darby Allin defeating Jungle Boy to retain the TNT title. This also featured the involvement of Luchasaurus, Sting, Ethan Page, Scorpio Sky, Lance Archer, and Jake Roberts.
Elsewhere on the show, The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle both gave promos building up their looming clash inside Blood and Guts.
