The viewership figure and demo rating for Wednesday’s (September 28) edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS has been revealed.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Dynamite drew 990,000 viewers. This is down from the September 21 Grand Slam edition that drew 1.039 million viewers.

This breaks AEW’s streak of five weeks over 1 million viewers in total viewership.

In the key 18-49 demographic, Wednesday’s episode scored 0.34 rating. This is also down from the week prior that scored 0.34 rating.

AEW Dynamite ranked #9 in the demo on cable for the night. Thurston noted that the Weather Channel dominated the cable ranks with Hurricane Ian hitting the southern U.S.

The show featured Chris Jericho defeating Bandido to retain the ROH World Championship and Jon Moxley defeating Juice Robinson in an AEW World Title Eliminator bout.
