AEW Dynamite experienced a decrease in viewership this week, despite featuring a number of major championship matches.
PWTorch is reporting that Dynamite viewership has fallen following Blood & Guts last week. 936,000 viewers watched the May 12 show, compared to the 1,090,000 who tuned in to the May 5 episode.
PWTorch took to Twitter to note that the AEW Dynamite viewership had fallen below 1 million:

While last week’s show featured the special attraction Blood & Guts match, this week’s card had a number of important matches. Jon Moxley defended the IWGP US Championship against NJPW veteran Yuji Nagata. The Young Bucks defeated SCU, forcing the challengers to disband.
Miro beat Darby Allin to become TNT Champion. After the show, Allin cut an emotional promo for the fans in Daily’s Place. Orange Cassidy and PAC fought for the right to face Kenny Omega for the AEW Championship at Double or Nothing.
This match was cut short when Cassidy was legitimately hurt during the contest. It has been reported that Cassidy is ok, and is still expected to compete in the three-way match against PAC and Omega at Double or Nothing.
