This week’s AEW: Dynamite on TNT saw a significant increase in viewers this week, whereas WWE NXT on USA Network dropped quite a bit.
Dynamite drew 979,000 viewers this week, which is up from last week’s 822,000.
Prior to the show, a main event match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships had been announced with SCU defending against Sammy Guevara and AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.
NXT wasn’t so lucky as viewers dropped to 750,000 from last week’s 813,000.
This is despite an NXT Cruiserweight Championship bout between Lio Rush and Angel Garza, a ladder match with WarGames implications between Io Shirai and Mia Yim, and the threat of Raw and/or SmackDown presence as Survivor Series gets closer.
