AEW Dynamite Viewership Up Significantly For Return To Wednesday

The viewership for AEW Dynamite was up significantly in the show’s return to its normal Wednesday timeslot.

Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reported the viewership figures for last night’s (June 30) show. The show garnered an average of 883,000 viewers, the highest total since moving off Wednesdays.

452,000 of the viewers fell into the key 18-49 demographic, making for approximately a 0.35 rating.

The show was also the last episode of AEW Dynamite to take place at Daily’s Place for some time. The venue has been the home of AEW throughout the pandemic, dating back to March 2020.

AEW Dynamite was main evented by MJF and Sammy Guevara. Their match has been called one of the best in the company’s history, with MJF getting the win with help from The Pinnacle.

Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo also earned an AEW World Tag Team Championship match by defeating The Young Bucks in the opening match.
