AEW Dynamite ‘Winter Is Coming’ & WWE NXT Segment-By-Segment Viewers Revealed

The quarter-hour viewership breakdown for this past Wednesday’s episodes of AEW Dynamite (Winter Is Coming) and WWE NXT has been revealed.

In terms of overall viewership, Dynamite drew 913,000 viewers (0.42 in 18-49), while NXT drew 658,000 viewers (0.16 in 18-49).

Courtesy of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, here’s the quarter-hour breakdown:

  • Quarter 1 – AEW opened with the Battle Royal, doing 844,000 viewers (451,000 in 18-49); NXT opened with a Pat Patterson tribute and Damian Priest & Leon Ruff vs Santos Escobar & Raul Mendoza, doing 718,000 viewers (252,000 in 18-49)
  • Quarter 2 – AEW had Chris Jericho vs Frankie Kazarian, doing 899,000 viewers (528,000 in 18-49); NXT had the finish to Priest & Ruff vs Escobar & Mendoza and an Undisputed ERA video package, doing 701,000 viewers (224,000 in 18-49)
  • Quarter 3 – AEW had the finish to Jericho vs Kazarian and the Inner Circle post-match angle, a backstage interview with the Young Bucks, the Acclaimed and the Hybrid2, and the start of Britt Baker vs Leyla Hirsch, doing 940,000 viewers (553,000 in 18-49); NXT had a backstage interview with Candice LeRae, and Cameron Grimes vs August Grey followed by the Dexter Lumis attack on Grimes, doing 668,000 viewers (206,000 in 18-49)
  • Quarter 4 – AEW had the post-match of Baker vs Hirsch with the Thunder Rosa run-in, and the start of Cody Rhodes & Darby Allin vs Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks, doing 874,000 viewers (522,000 in 18-49); NXT had Jake Atlas vs Tony Nese, doing 647,000 viewers (199,000 in 18-49)
  • Quarter 5 – AEW had most of the Rhodes & Allin vs Hobbs & Stark match, the Sting debut, and a Hikaru Shida backstage promo, doing 942,000 viewers (558,000 in 18-49); NXT had a Pat McAfee promo, and a Boa & Xia Li vignette, doing 642,000 viewers (194,000 in 18-49)
  • Quarter 6 – AEW had the opening of the Jon Moxley vs Kenny Omega World Title match, doing 911,000 viewers (559,000 in 18-49); NXT had the Grizzled Young Veterans vs Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel, doing 619,000 viewers (197,000 in 18-49)
  • Quarter 7 – AEW had Moxley vs Omega, doing 952,000 viewers (588,000 in 18-49); NXT did an angle with Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa to set up a TakeOver match, doing 577,000 viewers (199,000 in 18-49)
  • Quarter 8 – AEW had the finish to Moxley vs Omega and the post-match drama, doing 945,000 viewers (581,000 in 18-49), NXT had Raquel Gonzalez vs Shotzi Blackheart in a ladder match for the WarGames advantage, doing 689,000 viewers (229,000 in 18-49)
