The official viewership numbers for last night’s September 30 episodes of AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT have now been revealed.
As per Showbuzz Daily, Dynamite on TNT drew an average of 866,000 viewers, which is up from last week’s 835,000.
Meanwhile, NXT this week drew 732,000 viewers, which is also an increase on last week which pulled 696,000.
In the important 18-49 demographic, Dynamite got a 0.33 rating (up from 0.32) and NXT got a 0.19 rating (up from 0.18).
This week’s NXT was the final episode before this Sunday’s TakeOver 31 event, and had advertised a face-to-face between Kyle O’Reilly and Finn Balor, a mixed tag team match with Damian Priest & Io Shirai vs Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae, and Dakota Kai vs Shotzi Blackheart.
For Dynamite, AEW had promoted Jon Moxley vs an opponent of Eddie Kingston’s choosing, a Tag Team Title match between FTR and SCU, Ricky Starks vs Darby Allin, Chris Jericho vs Isiah Kassidy, and Orange Cassidy vs Pres10 Vance.
The shows were up against the South Park pandemic special which topped last night’s charts.
