AEW Dynasty returns on Sunday, April 6, 2025, and the host city has been confirmed as Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The news that =Dynasty would be coming to The Liacouras Center was revealed in the Philadelphia Inquirer Sports which stated:
“All Elite Wrestling is returning to Philadelphia in April. AEW Dynasty will be held at Temple’s Liacouras Center in Philadelphia on April 6, marking AEW’s first pay-per-view event to be held in Pennsylvania.”
The promotion’s CEO, Tony Khan, would share his thoughts on Philadelphia as a home for AEW events, saying:
“Philadelphia has been a great home for AEW and really all of pro wrestling for many years.
“The energy is tremendous and we’ve always wanted to have a pay-per-view event there.
“AEW Dynasty is going to be a great pay-per-view in a great city at an arena where we have a great history of putting on awesome events. It’s the perfect place to make a pay-per-view debut.”
The report would go on to note that The Liacouras Center was the home of the November 2 2024 episode of Collision.
The venue has hosted AEW multiple times since 2019 and was also the home for the second anniversary episode of Dynamite in October 2021.
The official AEW Twitter account would confirm that news for the upcoming PPV along with confirming that tickets go on sale on Monday, February 3.
