# Major AEW Star Confirms He Won’t Main Event Dynasty PPV

An interesting update has emerged on plans for Will Ospreay vs Bryan Danielson at the upcoming AEW Dynasty pay-per-view.

Will Ospreay has hit the ground running since becoming a full-time AEW star, defeating Konosuke Takeshita at the Revolution pay-per-view before setting up his next dream match.

The British star is now slated to step into the ring with Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty in a clash which many AEW fans have been eagerly anticipating.

While this is the only match officially announced for the April 21 pay-per-view, it will not headline the show.

Bryan Danielson confirmed that this match won’t be the main event when speaking with [Sports Illustrated’s FanNation](https://www.si.com/fannation/wrestling/news/bryan-danielson-me-and-will-ospreay-wont-be-the-main-event-at-dynasty-that-tells-you-what-type-of-show-it-will-be), noting:

*“Me and Will Ospreay won’t be the main event at Dynasty. That tells you what type of show it will be.*

*“I have an inkling of some of the things that are lined up, and I think people are going to be really excited.”*

The only other bout confirmed for AEW Dynasty is the finals of the AEW Tag Team Championship tournament, which will determine the next set of titleholders.

A tournament is currently underway to crown the next AEW Tag Team Champions after Sting and Darby Allin relinquished their gold following Sting’s retirement match at the Revolution pay-per-view.
