Bandido has commented on his upcoming Mask Vs. ROH World Championship match against Chris Jericho at AEW Dynasty.
The match was made official in an announcement from Tony Khan ahead of the AEW pay-per-view on April 6, 2025.
With Jericho recently targeting Bandido’s brother, Gravity, on the AEW Revolution Zero Hour pre-show, the Learning Tree has already taken one mask and is now intent on adding another to his collection.
Bandido has addressed the affront to Luchador history that Jericho is attempting to unleash, tweeting that the ROH World Champion will be fighting Mexico, not just a man, in a post that reads:
“For a Mexican luchador, the mask it’s the most important thing in our entire career!
“This Sunday you won’t fight against a person, you will fight against the whole country!!
“I ACCEPTED IT”
Elsewhere at AEW Dynasty, Will Ospreay will face Kevin Knight in the Owen Hart Tournament Quarterfinals.
It has recently been reported that Knight was a replacement in the match for the injured Jay White.
Bandido returned to the AEW ring after a nineteen-month absence back in February 2025.
For a Mexican luchador the mask it’s the most important thing in our entire career!
This sunday you won’t fight against a person you will fight against the whole country!!
