New Swerve Strickland Alliance Teased After AEW Dynasty

New Swerve Strickland Alliance Teased After AEW Dynasty AEW

It appears that, after AEW Dynasty on April 6, Swerve Strickland could have found a new ally following the return of The Young Bucks.

Strickland was unable to claim the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, thanks, in part, to the return of Matthew & Nicholas Jackson.

With The Young Bucks having some responsibility for Strickland’s main event loss, it appears that the AEW star may have found an ally.

In a video shared by MVP on Instagram, Strickland can be seen meeting up with The Hurt Syndicate member.

In the footage, which features the track Survival of the Fittest by Mobb Deep, Strickland waits for a moment while MVP gets close to him.

After a moment where they appear to be sizing each other up, MVP extends a hand, with Strickland shaking it.

MVP then gives the former AEW World Champion a salute before departing, leaving Strickland to consider his options before glancing heavenward.

Commentating on the Instagram video, MVP also shared that he sees Strickland and has respect for the AEW star, commenting:

“I see you, @swerveconfident. Respect.”

After AEW Dynasty, Swerve Strickland would address the fans in Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, reflecting on his history with the city, representation and his history with the company.

At AEW Full Gear in November 2024, Strickland faced Bobby Lashley in a first-time ever match.
