AEW
A huge Best of 7 Series has been announced following a big match at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.
During the November 19 event, PAC & the Lucha Brothers defeated Kenny Omega & the Young Bucks to retain their AEW Trios Championship.
It was later announced that Death Triangle and The Elite will face off in a Best of 7 Series, where the first team to get to four victories (majority of the seven matches) will win the series.
Death Triangle are already one win up, as the Full Gear title bout counted as the first match.
The next bout will take place on Wednesday’s (November 23) edition of Dynamite.
Here’s the current schedule for the series:
1. AEW Full Gear: November 19 (Death Triangle won and lead 1-0)
2. AEW Dynamite: November 23
3. AEW Dynamite: November 30
4. AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming: December 14
5. AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash: December 21 (if necessary)
6. AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash: December 28 (if necessary)
7. AEW Dynamite: January 11 (if necessary)
Matches 5, 6 and 7 will only take place if a winner has not been determined by that point in the series.
As Death Triangle are one win up, if they win their next three matches against The Elite, they will win the entire series.
