An AEW star is heading over to Japan later this month, with his opponents revealed for his debut at the iconic Korakuen Hall.
As previously reported, Evil Uno is set for his first match in Japan at DDT-Pro Wrestling’s September 28 event.
DDT-Pro Wrestling has now confirmed his opponents for the upcoming tag team match at this weekend’s event.
In a post shared on Twitter, it was revealed that Evil Uno will be teaming with Danshoku Dieno, taking on Harahima and Jun Akiyama.
The match will be fought under a 30-minute time limit rule and is set to be the fourth match on the show card.
Also being contested on the show is the DDT Universal Championship, with Minoru Suzuki defending that title against Takeshi Shoda in a 60-minute time limit match.
In addition to NJPW fans, Suzuki will likely be a familiar face to AEW fans, having competed as recently as September of last year, losing to TNT Champion Jack Perry.
Evil Uno last competed on AEW television back in March of this year, teaming with Alex Reynolds in a losing effort to The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander & Konosuke Takeshita) on Collision.
More recently, he’s been seen on ROH on HonorClub, with The Dark Order (Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver) losing to MxM TV (Johnny TV, Mansoor & Mason Madden) in August.
