All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is reportedly “extremely concerned” about rising COVID-19 cases affecting the promotion’s touring schedule.
As reported by Bodyslam.net, AEW is worried about the recent surge causing problems for upcoming big shows in Chicago, New York and St Louis.
AEW has had internal discussions about what to do if there’s another shutdown, with a return to Daily’s Place being one of the options being considered.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently recommending national mask guidelines, and there’s concern that large gatherings could once again be banned soon.
AEW is said to be continuing with its current plans as of right now, but is monitoring the situations in different parts of the country.
Hopefully this isn’t something that negatively affects reported plans for the debuts of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, but ultimately, health and safety will have to take priority.
