There was an intriguing elimination during the AEW Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal that seemingly is further evidence a faction is splintering.
Tonight’s Dynamite Dozen battle royal was won by Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly, who will now have a match next week to determine who faces MJF at Worlds End.
However, another story coming out of the battle royal was the eliminations of Dante and Darius Martin, Top Flight.
The pair were eliminated by their own recent stablemates Action Andretti and Lio Rush, as Leila Grey at ringside and commentary were all surprised by the development.
While Andretti and Rush would go on to be eliminated shortly thereafter, those eliminations were the biggest sign yet of a split from Top Flight after tensions have been rising within the group recently.
There have been a number instances of disagreements in the past setting the scene for Action Andretti and Lio Rush potentially splitting off, with Rush having seemingly been open about hoping to earn a spot with the Hurt Syndicate.
