AEW/THQ
The highly anticipated AEW console video game, AEW: Fight Forever, is in development, with Kenny Omega still hoping for a 2022 release for the game.
The game had a playable demo at this year’s Gamescom, where for the first time fans were able to get their hands on the game and try it out.
The gameplay has been praised for it’s ‘throwback’ style, taking inspiration from the WWF No Mercy Nintendo 64 title.
The game only featured a playable demo, but that was more than enough to impress a lot of people, as the AEW: Fight Forever game won the award for Best Sports/Racing Game at the award show on August 27.
The game beat out GOAL! The Club Manager, and Ultimechs in order to win this award, with AEW stars Evil Uno and Colt Cabana present to pick up the award.
