A big update has emerged on the release date for the AEW Fight Forever console game, following speculation about the upcoming release.
As of writing, AEW Games have not shared an official release date for Fight Forever, despite the game first being announced in November 2020.
It has now been pointed out that Best Buy has updated the listing for the game on all platforms.
Following the update, AEW Fight Forever is listed to release on March 31. As previously mentioned, AEW has yet to confirm this.
It had been reported by Andrew Zarian that the game was slated for a Q2 release, which would’ve meant April, May or June.
Speaking on the Swerve City Podcast, Omega confirmed that the game’s delayed release was due to issues trying to scale the content down in order to get a Teen rating from ESRB.
If this release date becomes official, AEW Fight Forever will be one of two major wrestling console games releasing in March.
WWE 2K23 is slated for release on March 17, or March 14 for those who pre-ordered the deluxe editions.
