AEW Files For Corrected Version Of Botched Trademark

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has now filed for a corrected version of a trademark, after the previous filing was botched.

On February 15, AEW filed to trademark the term ‘AEW COLLISON’. It was speculated that this was a botch, with many assuming that the company wanted to utilise the term ‘AEW Collision’.

Sure enough, AEW has now filed to trademark the latter term, with a filing for ‘AEW COLLISION‘ made on February 20.

Per the trademark filing, AEW plans to use this term for ‘educational and entertainment services’ related to a ‘continuing program about wrestling’.

The following description accompanied the filing:

Educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video and computer networks

Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events

Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media

Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring wrestling provided through television and the internet

Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling

AEW also filed a trademark for ‘AEW ALL ACCESS‘ with a similar description:

Educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by means of television and the internet;

Entertainment services in the nature of production of reality-based television show featuring wrestling;

Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling and reality-based content distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media;

Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring wrestling and reality-based content provided through television and the internet;

Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling and reality shows

On the February 22 edition of Dynamite, AEW announced that an ‘All Access’ reality series will premiere on TBS in March.
